Scrapping Again

Howdy readers, I've been scrapping again.  Not much this time, my mojo has run away now that I have a clean scrap space.  I think maybe I'm too scared to mess it up!

Here is a layout I've done from inspiration from Creative Scrappers Blog - Sketch #137

My newest nephew and his Mum - he's soooo cute and so easy going too.

Thats all for now,  it's pretty warm here today so I'm about to turn the air-con on and relax.

My Scrap Space

The lovely Donna White recently shared her scrap space on the Scrapbook Savvy Forum and has put up a challenge to all to share yours too.  Well I was in absolute aawwwee of everyone's storage of their stash.  So it was time for me to clean my mess up before I photograph.  And now its done, here is my creation station.  I'm lucky enough to have my own room to scrap in, and can leave it in a mess and shut the door to come back to it later.  I always scrap with noise in the background, either music or the tv - it helps me create!

I made my own photo frames to showcase my latest fave layouts on the wall.  This is where I scrap most nights, if I've got company we scrap on the dining room table so we can spread out and make an even bigger mess!  That green tablecloth is about to be upgraded, I'm thinking calico but am worried my chocolate nibbling habit while scrapping will mark them too quickly ha ha ha ha

And here is where most of my stash is stored, in this awesome shelving from Ikea I got 5 years ago:

This looks neat and tidy hey? I wonder how long that will last!!!!

And I must confess, there's a pile on the floor (that's not in the photographs LOL) of stuff I need to sort out, like scrapping mags, photography mags, old scrap crap etc etc.  Thats a job for another day because after this clean up I'm exhausted!!!
I Love Stuck! Sketches

I am always inspired by the sketch challenges at Stuck! I've probably said this a thousand times before -but it's true!!  Here is my take on the both of the Jan Sketches

And I also dabble with the Savvy Sketch by Anthea every month

But wait there's more!!!

Here are the layouts I managed to complete for the January 'Australia Day' Savvy Cybercrop:

San's Challenge was to use the word 'Bugger' as your title, I have quite fitting photos don't you think?

Kerryn's Challenge was sketch based:

And Sara's Challenge was to use Red/White/Blue colour combo:

Its time to share!

I have been thoroughly enjoying a renewed scrapping mojo for the last couple of weeks so I thought I'd share with you all a few challenges that have inspired me.

This challenge is for a site I stumbled up on by accident - scrapbookitblog.blogspot.com - and loved the sketch so here's my take:

And here is my layout for pencillines sketch - it's using papers that I don't like but couldn't bear to throw them away, stupid I know

Thanks for visiting me - I'll be back again soon to share some more creations - mojo willing :-)

I'm ssssoooo bored at *work* right now I'm seriously going out of my mind.  So I thought I come here, to pass the time and make a post.

So if you read my store a couple of months ago about an eventful trip to Wollongong with Del to Scrap, well the drive home from Scrapbooking Delights last Saturday was nearly just as much fun.  We departed Dapto about 9.30pm, getting a bit weary so thought we'd hit the road before it got too late.  Well about 10 mins into the drive we hit fog, not just a little bit, A LOT.  It was thick, and we could barely see a metre in front of the car.  Both Del and I had our little noses stuck to the windscreen, eyes wide open, doing 50 k/hr in a 110k zone.  Del was in charge of the Hazard lights (I was concentrating too hard to find the switch LOL)  It seemed like it took forever, even though we kept chatting all the way.  I'm sure you south coast girls have experienced it many times, but I have never driven in fog like that before.  I had been taking photos all day....but in our extreme concentration I forgot to snap the fog - what sort of slack scrapper am I!!  On the upside I'm stoked we didn't get a flat tyre!!!!

Anyways, now that you've read my short boring story, you're probably ready for a nap.  10 minutes of my day has just passed so mission accomplished if you ask me.  Only 10 more minutes to go till home time.....counting down

Awesome crop at Scrapbooking Delights!  Del and I took a road trip to Dapto yesterday to catch up with San and crop the day (and evening) away.  Had heaps of laughs and as a bonus got a couple of layouts done. This first one I used the new Campfire OA range I bought while I was there. It is about the fun we had around the campfire when we went camping with a group of good friends a couple of months ago.  Why is it that boys can't leave a fire alone - no matter what they're age!!!

This layout is of my SIL and her youngest (omg oh so cute son) - its not about anything at all, I just wanted to use the new Echo Park Little Boy range ;-)

And an old photo from last Easter finally scrapped.  I have notice a trend of late - I'm stitching on nearly every layout, its quite relaxing and I think the 'Sew Easy' I bought has made it sooo much simpler that I really enjoy it.

Well there's a few more hours left today - better get this mess cleaned up so I can start another layout!

Thanks for stopping by xxx

Happy New Year to my few blog readers.  I hope you saw it in with drink in hand and a smile on your dial.  I know I did ;-)  I'm not very good at this blog thing, work seems to always get in the way.....however I am getting better.

During the Christmas break (I had nearly 2 weeks off work WOOHOO) I scrapped like I've never scrapped before.  My mojo hasn't been around like that since I can last remember and it felt GREAT.  I have been inspired by some of the many challenges on the net around the globe and I'll share a few.

Thanks for stopping by - not many people know about my blog because I really don't have anything to say 99.9% of the time.  We all know I'm not like that in real life ;-)

SORRY - LAYOUT REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION

And this layout below was inspired by Anthea's Monthly sketch challenge over at the friendly homely forum - Scrapbook Savvy
