My last post for the year.

So who is ready for a New Year to begin.  I know I am - its gone quickly but one I'd rather see the back of and start afresh.  I have thoroughly enjoyed a mini break - 2 x 4 day weekends in a row. Its not much but I've enjoyed every minute so far.  And my mojo is back which is delightful.  Here's what I've been creating:

First up is the December Sketch Challenge over at Anna's Craft Cupboard.  Last month I won this and was very spoilt with a $40 voucher which I loved spending:

Next up is the layout inspired by Handmade by Suzanne December Sketch:

Challenge Heaven December Sketch had me creating this one:

Not sure I have ever done a Scraplounge Sketch before, I usually have good intentions but never end up completing anything.  Well this month I did:

Unfortunately I don't have any A2Z scraplets left in my stash that I could use on this page, but their sketch was too nice not to do:

And lastly a double, the  Stuck 1st December sketch inspired the RH side of this one.

Sorry for such a long post, hope you come back and visit again soon.

Cheers (and double cheers for tonight - Happy New Year!)

SEASONS GREETINGS

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.  This is a fairly festive post as this week I've managed to create not one but 4 layouts - all with a Christmas theme.  I was on a roll scrapping last years photos, don't know what got into me. Is it because I know I won't want to scrap them once I've got this years photos to do, or is it because my Christmas stash is limited and I only had a 'few' products to work with so I wasn't fussing over the layouts forever.  Whatever it is - I'm really happy with the outcome.  Last Years photos are now in memory albums and I'm ready to take a whole lot more this Sunday!!

Here is a little snippit of the fun I had last saturday with my littlest nephew.  Do you think he would sit still for a Xmas photo shoot - no way!!!  But I had a blast, he is just the cutest and so cheeky at 18 months

Best wishes to you all......and I hope you have a safe and happy Christmas

I had a Delightful time on Saturday.  I went down to Dapto to scrap and chat at Scrapbooking Delights.  There is something about that cosy little shop - it has a great vibe.  I managed to create 3 layouts - here are two and the third one I'm yet to photograph

'Ouch' was inspired by the Handmade by Suzanne November sketch

'New Camper' was inspired by the Scrapbook Savvy November Sketch

This next layout was inspired by the photo - I love it

Capture the Moment was also inspired by the photo - taken at Hyams Beach on my 40th Birthday

'Kicking Back' was based on Anna's November Sketch and the lovely Wendy Smith's blog caught my attention with her version

Thats all for now, I'm happy that I'm scrapping again - albeit slowly.  My 'scrap/craft' room is in a state of disarray at the moment, I've had to move everything so now I'm having a self imposed clean out.  I'm being ruthless and getting rid of things I haven't used or looked at for years.  I know my friend's girls are going to be stoked with their big box of goodies this weekend.

Speaking of this weekend - if you're looking for an inspirational good time - book a spot at Scrapbooking Delights this Friday or Saturday with the fabulously talented Wendy Smith.  She's a class act and has amazing talents.  I know you'll be made feel very welcome and you're sure to have a few (thousand) laughs!

Enjoy the rest of your week everyone.

I scrapped I scrapped I scrapped

Yesterday I spent the day and evening down at Scrapbooking Delights at Dapto.  Sooo much fun was had - espec with San and Belinda, those 2 girls are like me and see the lighter side of life and they know how to have me in stitches.  I am happy to share that I managed to create 3 layouts and I'm back on track to loving this hobby again.  I think I need to get out to these crops more often.

Without further ado - here they are:

Thanks for visiting my blog - if there is anyone out there who hasn't given up yet!

Today is Bathurst 1000 so I'm going to scrap the day away with the race on in the background.

My new job isn't so new anymore - 8 months now and I finally feel like I'm settled in.  Who thought it would be that hard to be a public servant!!!  They definately do things different to the 'real world' LOL.

Thats a wrap from me - I wanna get off here and go scrap!!

MOJO and no mojo.............................................................

Susan this post is for you - thanks for the kick up the butt to make me update this sad neglected blog.  Truth is, I've not been scrapping and therefore have nothing to post.  Sad I know.

Well the not scrapping is a half-truth - I recently attended CAMP MOJO in the Hunter Valley surrounded my some awesome chickies who made me laugh till my sides split - Sharryn, San, Wendy, Sar, Peta, Lisa W, Lisa O and it was great to finally put 2 new faces to names: Kris and Susan.  The retreat was massive - imagine the noise of 80+ women all in one room, WOW.  A couple of the highlights were: A little trip to the wineries for some tastings with my SIL, an entertaining drive and photos in a quiet little church with San and Sharryn, meeting a few other scrappers from across the country who were sooo friendly and I hope we meet up again someday, and last BUT NOT LEAST a very shocking, revealing, amazing performance from the one and only Mrs Sharryn Thomson!  See pics below - she makes a goood tranny don't you think?!!

Heres a pic of our roudy gang

As the title say 'no mojo' I didn't get much scrapping done - not for want of trying, I just couldn't put anything together and make it work.  I really should have got up off my butt and socialised more but sadly there was very little room between tables for even little me to move around.  Here's a couple of layouts I did - the first one here is using the awesome new products from a lil something - have you seen their stuff? If not its worth checking out, and very reasonably priced too

I also did a layout of one of my gorgeous nephews doing a nudie run, but it's a bit inappropriate to put here on the www even if he is only 3 years old!

This is my fave layout - It was inspired by the Storyboard Kits Sketch Challenge, thanks Lisa.

So thats it from me, I have not been creative lately so it could be a while before you see this little baby updated again.

Chow for now.....

Time flies when you're having fun doesn't it?!  I know it is for me this year - and I can't seem to keep up with myself LOL

My mojo has been very hot and cold, not something I can control unfortunately.  So I try to just go with the flow, and not force it.  I also get distracted very easily, so when the mojo is on a roll - I'm off doing something else !!!!

Good Friday I went down to Scrapbooking Delights for the day/night scrap.  I had an UNREAL time, managed to complete 4 layouts (double my previous record!!) and I'd just like to mention I had THE BEST THAI I have ever eaten. OMG just thinking about it, I want some now.

Enough chit chat from me, here are some scrappy layouts I've completed lately.

Stuck Sketches 1st April:

Handmade by Suzanne April Sketch:

Annas April Sketch:

Looks like I've scrapped more than I think!

I will be back soon to upload the layouts from my recent crop - chow for now

I'm baaaaaack!

I have had quite a glut in mojo for the past couple of months.  Not sure why but geez it was frustrating. I felt like it would never come back to me.  But I'm pleased to announce I have been scrapping a little and my mojo is returning albeit slowly....

Sassy Lil Sketches inspired me to scrap this

Creative Scrappers Sketch #145 inspired 'Cuddle Bug' - my gorgeous newest nephew

Scrapbook Savvy March sketch was the basis for 'Chilling out'

Challenge Heaven March Sketch had me creating this layout 'Brotherly Love'

This layout 'capture' was based on Scrapbook it March sketch

Another layout inspired by Sassy Li'l sketches

Anna's Craft Cupboard was the inspiration behind this layout 'cute'

Stuck?! always inspires - here is my take on the 1st March Sketch

Adore You is my favourite layout at the moment - inspired by Handmade by Suzanne March Sketch

Wow, now there's the biggest layout post I've ever done. Maybe I need to lose my mojo more often.  One thing I have noticed, is that I LOVE sketches!!!

Happy Scrapping

Stuck?! Again!

Good Morning everyone,

Hows life with you all? Its settling down for me, slowly but surely and I'm making sure I enjoy every minute of this precious life we have (sorry, bit heavy I know).  I have lost my mojo, its been gone for quite a few weeks now, I have absolutely no desire to scrap.  This is what I came up with when I forced myself over the last couple of weeks, it's based on the 1st February Stuck!? Sketch

I feel like it's missing something, But I have no idea what, so any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

And this is one I persevered with this week.  It too seems to be lacking something???
Inspiration is from Creative Scrappers Sketch #141

Enjoy what's left of your weekend, I know I will as I'm out with the family for a Big Birthday lunch for me today!!!  Its only around the corner at Rock Salt but we're getting picked up so DH and I have have a drink or 3 - sssoooooo looking forward to it.

Chow for now xxx

I love a relaxing life

Don't you just love it somedays when the whole day is spent relaxing, doing stuff just for YOU.  And these are the days I appreciate more than ever.  Especially when there's a little bit of scrapping involved.  I thought I'd lost my mojo but I've managed to drag it out of its hiding place.

The following layout 'pub crawl' was inspired by Anthea's monthly sketch over at Savvy

Here's hoping my mojo is back to stay!!
