I can pretty much rely on Stuck Sketches to fire up the mojo - this month I feel like I just warmed up a little but its another layout done and in the album!

AGAIN!

And here I am again - twice in a month, is that a first ?!!

I've been a bit slow on the scrapping front this week.  I know I said I want to do all the sketch challenges possible this month, but I've also started knitting 'trauma bears' for the Red Cross so I guess some of my time that would otherwise be spent scrapping is now devoted to a charitable cause.  If you don't know what trauma bears are, google them.  They're a knitted bear given to children who are taken in an ambulance, admitted to ED, Childrens wards etc.  Such a worthy cause, I just hope my knitting is up to scratch.

Anyways, here is my scrappy layouts completed since my last post:

Together layout - Annas Craft Cupboard October Sketch.  these photos were taken at a wedding we attended a year ago (how time flies!) I'm thinking I might go back to that haircut - what do you think?

The next layout is of my BFF and her hubby - taken when they were in  Sydney last October.  This layout was inspired by the Purple Pumpkin October Sketch.  I know I don't own any Purple pumpkin products but I should...cause from what I've seen they're soooo cute.

And lastlyThe Scrapbook StoreOctober Sketch was perfect for a few pics of our holiday earlier this year when we stopped in at Barrington Tops for a couple of days:

I know these last two are very similar because I used the same paper range, but I don't mind because the Anthologie 'Everyday Moments' is soooooo versatile.  I have made quite a few layouts with it and still have heaps of embellies left.

Challenge time again.

I'm determine this month to do as many sketch challenges as I can.

So far I've done 3 - not many I know but better than last month!

Here is my version of Stuck Sketches Layout using photos of our holiday in February.

Scrapbook Savvy always has a great 'doable' sketch - here's my interpretation:

And Creative Scrappers Sketch #228 had me creating this:

I'm not fussed on how this one turned out - its a little to 'old school scrapping' for me.  Oh well, its done now and its staying like that LOL

I'm currently working on Anna's Craft Cupboard Sketch - stay tuned.

This month has seen me do a little more fiddling and playing more than actually scrapping a layout.  Thats not a bad thing.....its fun!  And I ended up making a few cards and donating them so thats always a great feeling.  I've been scrapping a few layouts, here is one I did for the Kraft it up August Challenge.  Haven't done one of their challenges for AGES .....

Thats it from me.... maybe this weekend with new monthly challenges I can do a few more layouts to share with you all.

OMG .............................................

its been so long I forgot my password!!  Sorry to have neglected my blog, life just seems to pass on by so quickly.  But thats all good isn't it - cause time flies when you're having fun.

My life right now is pretty perfect.  Not many people can (or do) say that but I feel like I'm living the dream.  Awesome hubby, great job, fantastic friends, doesn't get any better does it? 

I have been scrapping - WOOHOO and I've been loving it.  I've learnt the secret, turn off the tv, have my music on and the mojo just flows unstoppable.  So there will probably be a pause in creativity for a couple of weeks. ..... just while the olympics are on.  I'm not a die-hard avid follower, but I like the evening updates which may cause a hiccup in my layout completion rate.

Me and my BFF, she means the world to me and I'm so lucky and so very thankful to have her.

Thats it for now, I know I've done a lot more layouts than that lately, I just need to photography them.....and then get around to uploading to my blog LOL

You know I envy those who find the time to blog post every few days - even once a week!  I'm slack, I'm hopeless and I guess I don't have anything exciting to say. 

My scrapping has been very hot and cold of late, more cold than anything.  But last weekend I managed to whip up a few layouts inspired by sketches.....
